Lattice Partners is an AI product studio & consulting firm.

As a consulting firm, we assist our clients by providing them with AI strategies, trainings, and by building highly personalized AI-powered applications and AI agents. Our primary objective is to help them save time & money and get ahead of the competition. We operate across all industries, with clients in entertainment, finance, and manufacturing.

As a product studio, we build 0→1 AI products for clients starting businesses and for ourselves. We do everything from competitor analysis, user research, product design, development, and go-to-market strategy.

Across all of our work, we move efficiently, building applications that are maximally useful while leaning heavily on AI tooling.

We are always pushing ourselves to be more curious, ambitious, and efficient. We love using AI in our work and driving real, measurable value for our clients, who trust us to help them.

What you'll do

You will be the first full-time designer for Lattice Partners and will be expected to juggle multiple projects for our clients. We build mission-critical software that's tailor-made for each client, so you'll get the opportunity to interact directly with users and meet their needs rapidly. You’ll also get the opportunity to start brand new projects from 0 to 1.

You’ll be responsible for owning the end to end design process including:

• User Research

• Product Ideation

• UX Design

• UI Design

You'll be in our daily stand-ups, in client meetings, and in critical meetings driving the directions our products take.

Ideally, we would like you to evolve into a Design Lead role.

What we are looking for

An AI-focused product designer with experience in Next.js apps and an interest in solving real business problems for our clients.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design experience in a professional environment

• Experience designing AI applications

• Experience designing products and features independently

• You have the ability and curiosity to think through complex design problems and trade-offs

• You can collaborate directly with engineers to get your designs implemented and understand what's possible

• Experience with AI coding tools. You use Cursor, Codex, or Claude Code to create mock-ups and interactive designs.

• Must be in a US timezone: PT/MT/CT/ET

• Previous work that you’re proud of and can share with us

Nice to haves

• Passion for becoming an excellent AI-first designer

• Previous consulting / contracting experience juggling multiple projects

Location

The Lattice Partners team is primarily based in Los Angeles but operates remotely. We work PST hours.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $160,000. This will start as a 3-month contractor position, with the goal to evolve into a full-time W-2 role with benefits.
