  • Organise and maintain engineering drawings and documentation within PLM systems.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies, manufacturing methods and industry trends to drive continuous product innovation.
What we're looking for

You'll be a proactive engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges and working collaboratively to develop high-quality products.

Essential
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Design, Design Technology or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years' experience in product design or mechanical design within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong CAD skills using Creo, SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modelling software.
  • Experience producing detailed engineering drawings, including GD&T, first and third angle projection.
  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Desirable

Experience or knowledge in any of the following would be an advantage:

  • Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Microsoft Office, Smartsheet and other engineering/business applications.
Why join Vertiv?

At Vertiv, you'll become part of a global engineering organisation that's driving innovation in one of the world's fastest-growing industries.

We offer:

  • The opportunity to work on innovative products used in mission-critical environments worldwide.
  • Exposure to the full product development lifecycle—from concept to commercial launch.
  • Collaboration with experienced engineers and global cross-functional teams.
  • Professional development and opportunities for career progression.
  • A culture that values innovation, teamwork, integrity and continuous improvement.

If you're passionate about engineering, product innovation and developing solutions that power the world's critical infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.
