If so, KLA is searching for Product Install Engineer (m/f/d) to join our installation team in Europe securing proper tool installation at KLA customer sites.
Our Installation engineers are a critical part of our new product deployment projects while traveling to some of the most advanced factories in the world and they work in multicultural teams to meet our project commitments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Partnership: Lead pre-installation planning with customers, understand unique requirements, and ensure successful project execution.
- System Installation & Commissioning: Install and configure advanced semiconductor inspection systems, including optics, robotics, cameras, and automation components.
- Technical Excellence: Perform system calibration, verification, performance testing, and product validation to achieve industry-leading specifications.
- Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex system issues using data-driven analysis and structured troubleshooting methodologies.
- Customer Success: Drive customer satisfaction through regular communication, technical consultations, escalations management, and on-site support.
- Acceptance & Qualification: Partner with customers to validate tool performance and ensure successful system acceptance.
- Applications & Process Optimization: Conduct application testing and process validation to maximize tool performance in customer manufacturing environments.
- Global Impact: Support critical customer issues across multiple regions and collaborate with international engineering teams.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing: Deliver installation and product training to worldwide customer support and field engineering teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the semiconductor industry is a strong advantage.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of optics, mechanics, electronics, lithography, metrology, laser technology, or related high-tech systems.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Software & Systems: Familiarity with Windows-based environments and computer systems.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing communication skills.
- Project Execution: Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
