  • Partner closely with Design and Engineering to evolve shared components, patterns, tooling, and infrastructure that enable teams to build cohesive app experiences more efficiently.
  • Identify high-leverage opportunities to improve how product teams discover, adopt, and contribute to Chime’s design system, balancing consistency with the flexibility teams need to innovate.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs of internal product builders and translate those needs into clear product priorities, requirements, and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive alignment across multiple product areas, helping teams make thoughtful tradeoffs when shared platform needs, individual product needs, and longer-term experience quality intersect.

  • Experience driving adoption of a shared product or platform across multiple teams, including identifying user pain points and influencing stakeholders without relying on direct authority.
  • Evidence of using data, research, and customer or internal-user feedback to prioritize investments and assess whether a product or platform is delivering meaningful value.
  • Experience operating in environments where quality, consistency, scale, and speed all matter, and where product decisions require balancing near-term delivery with durable foundations.

About the role

We are hiring a Product Manager to join our AI & App Experience (AAX) team, with a focus on Chime’s Home experience, app-wide foundations, and design system. In this role, you’ll help shape how members understand their financial lives, navigate Chime, and take the actions that help them make progress.

You’ll own product strategy and execution for Home and shared app capabilities that sit at the intersection of product, design, and engineering. You’ll work across teams to bring Chime’s products together into a cohesive experience while building the systems, patterns, and tools that enable teams to deliver high-quality experiences efficiently.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $196,000 and up to $255,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Chime’s Home experience, app-wide capabilities, and design system.
  • Shape Home into a personalized financial command center that helps members understand what has changed, what needs their attention, and what they should do next.
  • Partner with product teams to determine how balances, activity, insights, products, and recommended actions come together in a clear and useful experience.
  • Partner closely with Design and Engineering to evolve shared navigation, information architecture, components, patterns, tooling, and infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify fragmented member journeys and create scalable solutions that improve consistency and product-development speed.
  • Drive adoption of shared capabilities across product teams, balancing app-wide coherence with the flexibility teams need to innovate.
  • Establish success measures using signals such as member comprehension, task completion, engagement, experience consistency, system adoption, and designer and developer effectiveness.
  • Help define how AI and personalization can make Home more relevant for members and improve how Chime teams design and build experiences.

To thrive in this role, you have

  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager.
  • Experience building and scaling consumer-facing mobile products, including a Home surface, dashboard, navigation system, personalized experience, or similarly central part of an app.
  • Experience working on design systems, shared app capabilities, developer platforms, UI frameworks, or horizontal product infrastructure.
  • Strong product judgment and the ability to turn complex financial information and competing priorities into simple, intuitive experiences.
  • Experience partnering deeply with Product Design and Engineering, with enough technical and design fluency to navigate information architecture, component systems, platform constraints, and user-experience tradeoffs.
  • A track record of translating ambiguous, cross-functional problems into a clear product strategy, prioritized roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience aligning and influencing multiple product teams without relying on direct authority.
  • Evidence of using analytics, experimentation, research, and member or internal-user feedback to guide product decisions.
  • Experience operating where quality, trust, consistency, scale, and speed all matter.
  •
  • Experience driving adoption of a shared product or platform across multiple teams, including identifying user pain points and influencing stakeholders without relying on direct authority.
  • Evidence of using data, research, and customer or internal-user feedback to prioritize investments and assess whether a product or platform is delivering meaningful value.
  • Experience operating in environments where quality, consistency, scale, and speed all matter, and where product decisions require balancing near-term delivery with durable foundations.
