Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and execution for several product areas, working with the Head of Product and executive leadership on priorities across teams
- Interface with clients and prospects to learn how they use Candor data and translate repeated requests from client feedback into roadmap items
- Conduct data research to build 0-to-1 new features and improve existing features; define the problem, scope, success criteria, and rollout plan
- Investigate data quality issues: pull samples, find the cause, and decide what gets fixed first
- Use AI tools like Claude Code to analyze data, build prototypes, and write model evaluations
- Evaluate model performance and uncover areas to improve
- Set accuracy targets for your areas and report progress against them
- Write release notes and keep product documentation current
- Track regulations that change what clients need from provider data, such as CMS Medicare Advantage directory requirements and the No Surprises Act, and turn them into product requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience
- Experience building data or AI features from idea to launch
- Customer focused mindset; skilled at gathering requirements from clients and prospects
- Strong attention to detail and “roll up your sleeves” attitude to dig into difficult data problems
- Decisive and skilled at analyzing technical and timeline tradeoffs in partnership with engineering, solutions, and QA teams
- Experience with dynamic startup environment with fast-paced release cycles is a plus
- Experience in healthtech or working with provider or payer data (especially in network management, provider directories, or claims), is a plus
- Background in software engineering is a plus
