About this role
Product Manager — Performance Marketing AI
We are looking for a Product Manager to own a Performance Marketing AI product that connects campaign data, analytics, and attribution signals into one intelligent workflow.
This role is ideal for someone who has built products from zero to one, understands performance marketing, is comfortable working on AI products, and can quickly turn customer requirements into working prototypes. You will own the roadmap, define product requirements, work closely with engineering, and help move the product from insight-led analysis to action-led execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the product roadmap for Performance Marketing AI across insights, reporting, recommendations, workflows, and automation.
- Translate customer pain points into clear PRDs, user stories, success metrics, prototypes, and phased product requirements.
- Prototype product flows quickly based on customer needs using AI tools, design tools, and low-code or no-code workflows where needed.
- Partner with engineering, design, AI, and data teams to ship reliable product experiences across dashboards, chat, connectors, goals, and workflows.
- Analyze performance marketing use cases across spend, ROAS, CPL, CPA, attribution, conversion quality, and campaign efficiency.
- Define trust and governance flows for AI recommendations, including evidence, approvals, risk checks, and action history.
- Manage product delivery through backlog grooming, sprint planning, stakeholder updates, and release readiness.
Required Prerequisities
- 4-6 years of product management experience.
- Prior zero-to-one product experience, preferably in SaaS, AI, analytics, marketing technology, advertising technology, or data-heavy products.
- Familiarity with building or managing AI products, including AI workflows, model limitations, prompt behavior, cost controls, and human review flows.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics such as ROAS, CPL, CPA, CPC, CTR, attribution, and conversion tracking.
- Experience writing detailed PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product release plans.
- Ability to work directly with engineering teams on technical products, APIs, data flows, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
Core competencies and skills
- Strong zero-to-one product thinking with the ability to move from vague customer problems to clear product direction.
- Practical familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, v0, Replit, or similar tools for research, prototyping, documentation, and workflow design.
- Ability to quickly create prototypes, wireframes, product demos, or proof-of-concepts based on customer requirements.
- Clear understanding of performance marketing workflows across paid media, analytics, reporting, and optimization.
- Ability to simplify complex data and AI outputs into clear user experiences.
- Strong written communication for PRDs, specs, release notes, and stakeholder updates.
- Customer-first working style with comfort joining demos, onboarding calls, and feedback sessions.
- Good technical fluency across APIs, data pipelines, dashboards, AI systems, and third-party integrations.
- Practical judgment around AI products, including explainability, reliability, hallucination risk, approval flows, and usage cost.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment with changing priorities, ambiguous problems, and early-stage product assumptions.
