What you'll do

  • Direction & roadmap. Own the course of the business line and the ROI-based product roadmap: set direction, experiment, weigh options, prioritize and defend the choices, steering on clear milestones (when to scale, pivot, or stop)
  • Drive growth. Improve trial conversion, onboarding speed, upsell and retention; focus on geo expansion and on doubling the customer base in the next two years
  • Go-to-market, positioning & selling. Own the value proposition, product marketing, partnerships and growth path. Position the product to win on more than features, and pitch it convincingly for trials, demos and pilots
  • Product discovery. Run product discovery initiatives including e.g. experimentation, market sizing and deep customer interviews that get to the core needs - and turn those insights into product and commercial decisions
  • Packaging & pricing. Differentiate the offer by customer type & size, protect gross margin against price pressure, and remove pricing as a reason we lose good-fit trials
  • Cost-to-serve & CAC. Reduce the cost of acquiring and serving customers: standardize onboarding (e.g. a custom-integration framework), enable self-serve value discovery, and lower operational effort per customer

What they're looking for

  • 5+ years in Product Management in international B2B SaaS. Experienced at scaling a product, commercially driven, growth- and revenue-first
  • Go-to-market, positioning, pricing/packaging and unit-economics fluency (incl. product P&L, LTV/CAC), and ownership of the product roadmap
  • Strong customer-interviewer: you probe to the core and know the difference between selling and interviewing
  • Experience managing data products, APIs, or forecasting / ML products
  • Industry experience in short-term power markets

Nice to have

  • Experience with renewable / battery asset trading or weather forecasting services is a plus
  • Product-led growth in high-tech/clean-tech environments

About Dexter Energy

Dexter Energy is an Amsterdam-based scale-up building AI-based forecasting solutions that help renewable energy companies become more predictable and profitable, pushing fossil fuels out of the market and accelerating the energy transition. Our products power data-driven trading decisions across day-ahead, intraday and imbalance markets.

About the role

Power Forecasting is Dexter's long-running business line: a proven product with a high win-rate and strong unit economics. The focus now is to increase its commercial scale and grow our customer base across Europe.

We are hiring a dedicated Product Manager who sets the direction, owns the product roadmap, builds the go-to-market and growth path. The job is also to sharpen the proposition, packaging and pricing, drive down cost-to-serve, defend against churn and price pressure, and enable our geographic expansion.

What you will own

  • Direction & roadmap. Own the course of the business line and the ROI-based product roadmap: set direction, experiment, weigh options, prioritize and defend the choices, steering on clear milestones (when to scale, pivot, or stop)

  • Drive growth. Improve trial conversion, onboarding speed, upsell and retention; focus on geo expansion and on doubling the customer base in the next two years

Why this role is exciting

  • You own the product roadmap for our power forecasting product and take it from proven to scaled, with a direct line to commercial impact

  • You join a lean, high-trust environment where you run the product end to end, with a lot of autonomy

  • You get to work with top-tier meteorology, AI and data-science experts, turning their models into commercially successful internationally scaling products

  • You help to accelerate the energy transition by making renewable energy companies become more predictable and profitable

You will report to the CPO and you’ll work closely with the Power and Meteo Tech teams, your PM-peers, the Commercial team and the whole Leadership Team.
