What you'll do
- Wear mandatory PPE at all times.
- Coordinate and ensure the safe and correct distribution of finished goods and raw materials to external and internal customers, meeting DOT and company regulatory standards.
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day activities of shipping clerks and/or production associates.
- Train personnel, appraise performance, resolve problems, and address staffing needs to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Follow all bar code scanning requirements during the inventory and shipping processes.
- Ensure all material is stored properly and at the right temperature according to product specifications.
- Coordinate and schedule warehouse activities to meet and exceed customer expectations, while optimizing loads and minimizing work hours.
- Support order fulfillment process by working with operations management, customer service, production personnel, shipping and Pro Logistics.
- Ensure standardization and implementation of best practices across all warehouse and/or production functions.
- Complete other duties and special projects upon request.

JOB SUMMARY
This Production Lead is responsible for the safe and efficient day to day operation of the ZECO production and/or distribution warehouse. He or she will lead and train production/warehouse personnel to ensure production, manufacturing processes, deliveries and/or shipments are handled accurately and in accordance with company/product specifications.

Preferred: 3+ years’ lead experience in distribution, warehouse management, or chemical manufacturing
