What you'll do

  • Direct Production Oversight & Floor Control: Maintain a permanent physical presence on the production floor at the supplier’s sub-tier facility in Conklin, NY, to monitor processes, ensuring the production line adheres to agreed-upon operational and quality standards (e.g., 5S principles). Actively support the supplier and sub-tier Project Managers to enforce schedule adherence and immediately address deviations.
  • Schedule & Resource Management: Validate timelines to account for realistic yield, machine downtime, and material availability to prevent schedule slippage. Flag workforce conflicts that may impact progress on all agreed activities, including production.
  • Production Line Capacity & Continuous Improvement: Ensure the production schedule is up to date with the latest run-at-rate data and that action plans for capacity expansion and continuous improvement are followed up.
  • Supplier PM Support & Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive critical internal coordination and bridge communication gaps between teams to correct alignment failures.
  • Transparent Reporting: Create and maintain weekly operational dashboards to report performance metrics, deviations, and remediation status directly to management.

Salary Range: $90k–$110k
