About this role

Production Manager

Wuxly is a Canadian leader in advanced textile integration, tactical apparel, smart textiles and soft-goods manufacturing—pairing design, pattern engineering, supply chain, and scalable production to deliver for defence and government clients. We operate as the commercial and operational bridge between breakthrough textile technologies and end users—acting as a systems integrator and program manager from concept to delivery. Our work sits in the dual-use arena: mission-ready solutions for Defence & Tactical, extreme cold weather (uniforms, outerwear, shelters, covers, concealment) alongside a growing consumer business, translating that same performance standard into premium outerwear and everyday gear built for real conditions.  Our products and programs are executed under ISO 9001/14001 discipline and shaped by performance proven in the world’s harshest environments.

Reporting to Wuxly's Chief Operating Officer, the Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, and execution of manufacturing operations to ensure products are delivered on time, meet stringent performance standards, and are produced efficiently at scale. Working closely with product development, technical design, manufacturing partners, and suppliers, this role manages production schedules, quality systems, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure consistent, high-quality manufacturing across defence, government, and consumer apparel and soft goods programs.

  • Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and drive informed decision-making.
  • Review production samples and finished products to ensure compliance with product specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.

  • Participate in design reviews, production planning meetings, and cross-functional problem-solving initiatives.

Systems & Compliance

  • Maintain documentation supporting production, inspections, corrective actions, and supplier performance.
  • Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality management processes and continuous compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable customer, government, defence, and regulatory requirements.
