Production Operator | H.B. Fuller
Position Overview

The Production Operator supports advanced electronics manufacturing, packaging, and assembly processes to deliver high-quality products and services. This role performs assembly, testing, data collection, equipment operation, and basic maintenance activities while following established quality standards. The position contributes to continuous process improvement, operational efficiency, and on-time project delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operate assembly, testing, and manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.
  • Perform hand soldering of surface mount and through-hole electronic components.
  • Assemble electronic, mechanical, and enclosure components.
  • Collect and document process quality control and process capability data.
  • Support test implementation and maintain accurate production records.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance and basic equipment upkeep.
  • Implement and maintain project and process router documentation.
  • Follow Quality Management System procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in electronics, optoelectronics, microelectronics, or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and standard office software.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team.
  • Authorization to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship.
     

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with electronics, optoelectronics, or microelectronics assembly technologies and equipment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality systems and manufacturing quality procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and identifying process improvement opportunities.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $23/hr per hour.
