  • Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, quality, and production teams to ensure necessary materials and resources are available to meet production targets.

  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to manage changes in customer demand and prioritize orders accordingly.
  • Ensure production plans comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Generate and maintain accurate reports and KPIs related to schedule adherence, production efficiency, and inventory status.
  • Support new product introductions and engineering changes through effective planning and communication.
  • Collaborate with the planning team, mentor junior planners and team members, and contribute to process improvements within the planning function.

Job Description:

Saab's U.S. Surveillance Systems Division in Syracuse, New York, is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Production Planner. This role is crucial to ensuring efficient supply chain operations by developing, maintaining, and executing detailed production schedules. The Production Planner will coordinate production plans to support delivery and manufacturing needs while considering material availability, capacity constraints, lead times, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities:

Compensation Range: $64,600 - $80,700
