Job Description

The Role

The Production Scheduler will be responsible for developing and coordinating the daily production plan and managing the Metal Assembly and Press Operations to meet production needs.  Candidates must possess strong analytical skills to interpret Press & Metal Assembly inventories and the operating plans needed to support customer needs capacities/availability compared to shipping requirements.  This position requires strong understanding of the National and Local UAW Agreements.  Candidates must exercise independent judgment within the framework of the Global Manufacturing System with a focus on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost and Environment. 

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

·       Analyze daily shipping requirements and develop the production plan for a three-shift operation
