What you'll do

  • Coordinate and oversee building improvement projects, including renovations, tenant improvements, and capital infrastructure upgrades, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Conduct site assessments and space planning exercises, utilizing your architectural expertise to recommend design solutions that optimize functionality and operational efficiency

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software or building information modeling (BIM) tools

  • Experience managing facilities within corporate, commercial, or institutional environments
  • Knowledge of LEED, WELL, or other green building certification standards and sustainable design practices

Assistant Facilities Manager - Buildings & Grounds, Projects

What this job involves:

As an Assistant Facilities Manager specializing in architecture and project management, you'll play a vital role in supporting the strategic planning, design coordination, and execution of building improvement initiatives. This position bridges technical expertise with operational excellence, ensuring our facilities meet both functional requirements and aesthetic standards while maintaining optimal performance. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to manage capital projects, space planning initiatives, and building enhancement programs from concept through completion.
