What you'll do
- Lead programmes across our New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, from bid and requirements definition through design, development, qualification, production readiness, and transition to full-rate production.
- Create and maintain integrated plans, milestones, budgets, forecasts and resource assumptions, using evidence to drive priorities and decisions.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams spanning optical, mechanical, electronics, systems, test, manufacturing engineering, quality, procurement, operations, finance and commercial functions.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, opportunities and changes, developing practical mitigation, recovery and contingency plans.
- Manage customer and internal stakeholder interfaces, maintaining alignment on requirements, deliverables, contractual obligations and expectations.
- Support business winning activity, including bid planning, estimating, proposal development, review and handover into delivery.
- Manage commercial and financial performance, including budget control, cost impacts, change requests and progress against business objectives.
- Support a controlled transition into manufacture and business-as-usual operations, ensuring programme outputs are ready for repeatable delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of programme management methods, tools, standards and team capability.

Key Responsibilities
