Join AIR as a Project Associate with our Healthcare Transformation Program. We work collaboratively to unravel the intertwined challenges of health care quality, costs, and access. Our work includes critical support for program integrity; ensuring that limited government funds are spent as intended to support access to health insurance. The individual selected for this role will support this goal by leading a small team responsible for reviewing improper payments on State-Based health insurance exchanges

Candidates hired for the position may work remotely within the United States (U.S.) or from one of our U.S. office locations. This does not include U.S. territories.

Qualifications:

Education, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience. 
  • Experience working with or for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services preferred, but not required. 
  • Knowledge of health insurance exchanges preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to translate project needs into operational actions and provide consistent support across multiple projects. 
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and ensure timely completion of project activities. 
  • Proficiency in Airtable or similar tools strongly preferred, but not required. 
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing project information and preparing documents. 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues that may impact project progress. 
  • Ability to perform basic research, summarize findings, and extract relevant information from various sources. 
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate efficiently in a virtual work environment. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets.
