  • Coordinate with ADP to establish new-state payroll and tax accounts and ensure the state is properly configured in the payroll system.
  • Ensure accurate state and local tax withholding and reporting.
  • Review payroll reports and reconcile payroll data to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Support federal, state, and local payroll tax filings and compliance.
  • Manage multi-state payroll requirements as the company expands.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, deductions, taxes, and pay statements.
  • Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate payroll documentation and support internal and external audits.

Custom Software Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Part-Time ADP Payroll Specialist to support our growing organization. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience administering payroll in ADP and understands the practical requirements of expanding payroll operations into new states.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can independently manage payroll activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. The right candidate will reside in a HUBZone.

Responsibilities
