Position Summary

The Certified Field Service Technician II is responsible for the assembly, preventative maintenance, training, and service on Lottery and Gaming equipment both in our facility and at the customer location.  This position will provide day-to-day maintenance of our Lottery and Gaming equipment. The Tech may train at retail location to provide them understanding of equipment usage and functionality. This position will travel to retail and casino locations and may require overnight trips to different site locations.

Job Functions:

  • Ability to assist the retail location with any questions or concerns they have with our equipment

  • Ability to maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance to SG’s Motor Vehicle Policy

  • Work with other departments in support of site sales and support goals

  • Travel to lottery and casino locations

  • Travel to corporate locations on an as needed basis

  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience

Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of all areas of computer software and hardware technologies

  • Must have strong communication, group presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to convey thoughts, ideas and training materials to all participants.

  • Bilingual a plus

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to compile and analyze statistical information

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for the state in which you are based

  • Advanced mechanical assembly skills

  • Strong problem solving and resolution skills

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs

  • Ability to work in a team-office environment

  • Ability to operate office equipment, but not limited to, personal computer and telephone

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, stretch at a minimum of 50% of the time for any or all of the movements described
