Opportunity Details
Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is assisting our contracted critical care group in recruiting a BC/BE Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join their practice and provide intensivist coverage at our hospital. ICU coverage is 24/7 and requires some nights. Opportunity also includes option for working at the group's new pulmonary and sleep clinic.
Opportunity highlights:
- Group covers ICU 24/7
- FT, PT, & Per diem shifts available
- Shifts are 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- Day shifts: BC/BE PD and CCM required
- Night shifts: BC/BE CCM (nights don't require BC PD)
- If clinic desired: BC/BE PD and/or Sleep Medicine
- Perform ICU procedures
- Day shifts include supervision of APPs who cover pulmonary floor
- Open 22-bed ICU
- Bread and butter (no neurocritical, trauma, or open hearts)
- Census averages 10-12
- Admissions done by Hospitalists or PCPs
- Clinic opportunity 2-3 days a week to include Sleep studies
- Independent contractor arrangement
- ICU = $225-235 an hour
- Clinic = $1,250 per day
