What you'll do
- Lead R&D/Engineering for BESS applications including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and certification
- Analyze BESS customer requirements and finalize product specifications to meet performance, quality, and cost targets
- Handle BESS projects across Utility, C&I, and Telecom industry segments
- Manage cell-to-pack, pack-to-rack/container integration
- Oversee BMS, cooling systems/HVAC, SCADA, and BESS engineering-for-safety strategies
- Handle product issues, projects/commissioning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for quality and performance
- Drive design-to-cost initiatives with cost drivers and optimization levers
- Manage stakeholders and work closely with customers and suppliers
