Job Description
We are reinforcing our Marine Sales Team in France.
As a Sales Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for managing sales activities and customer relationships within the assigned region and customer base. You will support existing business, identify future business opportunities, and contribute to the development and execution of customer strategies to achieve sustainable growth.
What you can look forward to as Sales Engineer (m/f/d):
- Lead sales activities for assigned customers and market segments within the marine business
- Develop, own, and execute customer strategies to support business growth and long-term partnerships
- Take responsibility for achieving defined sales targets and key performance indicators
- Lead commercial negotiations within agreed boundaries
- Drive customer satisfaction in line with company processes and guidelines
- Manage customer escalations and coordinate the resolution of commercial issues
- Act as the main sales contact for customer workshops and business reviews
- Provide input for market analyses, industry trends, and future business opportunities
- Strengthen customer proximity and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
Your profile as Sales Engineer (m/f/d):
- Commercial or technical degree, or a comparable qualification
- More than 5 years of experience in the marine industry, ideally in a sales or business development role
- Strong commercial background and excellent negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop customer visions and growth strategies
- Deep understanding of the marine market, industry trends, and innovations
- Solid knowledge of marine products and their applications
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools such as Salesforce
- Willingness to travel frequently and work closely with customers across the region
