Python Developer - HR Strat/Engineer

Position Overview This role will be responsible for driving HR Service Delivery automation, process optimisation, AI adoption, and operational transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will partner closely with Senior Business, HR COO, and Technology stakeholders to design and implement scalable, data-driven solutions that enhance workforce decision-making and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and deploy HR applications, workflow solutions, and internal tools. • Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines. • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation and enhancement. • Drive GenAI, workflow automation, and technology adoption initiatives within HR. • Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Apply modern software engineering and development best practices. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another quantitative discipline; advanced degree preferred. • 6+ years of relevant experience in software development, workflow products, or internal business applications. • Strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL. • Experience with Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms. • Strong understanding of APIs, application architecture, testing frameworks, source control, and software development best practices. • Experience working with data governance, controls, and model validation frameworks. • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and convert complex business challenges into practical solutions. • Experience across transformation, automation, AI enablement, operational excellence, or consulting environments is highly desirable.
