QA Automation Engineer

Primary Responsibilities: • Perform activities and operations related to quality assurance for the production QA team • Ensure that products meet or exceed quality standards set forth by the team • Develop and run automated test cases (functional, performance and system regression tests) • Participate in the software delivery process by reviewing functional and design specifications, authoring and reviewing test cases • Produce high-value/real-world test cases based on a thorough and deep understanding of the system, sub-components, and use cases • Coordinate efforts and communication with the developers and other team members to ensure resolution of defects, and managing (triage) defects in the bug tracking system that are identified through the QA process • Actively participate and/or commit in the execution of tasks required to meet the milestones and deliverables set by the SCRUM team throughout the release cycle • Monitor production system issues and provide timely response and QA support for making necessary patches and updates
