QA-QC Officer

Job Description:

Quality Control officers are extremely important in the process of ensuring that the goods and services provided by businesses are up to the appropriate level of quality and safety requirements. Their duties consist of, among other things, inspecting materials and products for flaws, carrying out inspections and tests, and recording the results of these activities. In addition to having strong analytical and problem-solving skills, quality control inspectors need to have an eye for detail. 

Responsibilities:

• Testing existing system processes and providing recommendations for improvements.
• Meeting with key stakeholders to determine business system needs and requirements.
• Conducting and reporting on technical analyses of the products.
• Assessing new products for compatibility with current benchmarks of the products.
• Creating processes and ensuring product quality throughout the development process.
• Overseeing the work of junior QA Analysts and managing QA projects as required.

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work within a team environment and collaborate with other professionals.
• Minimum of 03+ years of experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures throughout the process of software development.
• Critical thinking and analysis skills to determine quality checks of the products.
• Mastery in analyzing technical, and functional needs and requirements.
• Strong attention to detail to identify, record, and prioritize issues as they arise.
• Solid report writing skills and command of written communication.
• Troubleshooting and creative thinking to present viable solutions as problems arise.
