The opportunity:
We're hiring FIFO (Fly In / Fly Out) Sous Chefs from Brisbane and nearby suburbs on a 14:7 roster for Fulltime Employment.
Working closely with the onsite Head Chefs, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality meals across Breakfast, Crib, and Dinner—while proudly upholding ISS’s reputation for excellence and creating memorable dining experiences that exceed expectations.

To be considered:
- Australian Trade Certification or Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery (Essential)
- A Food Safety Certificate or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate [SITXFSA005] (Essential)
- Experience as a Sous Chef in a commercial kitchen (Essential).
- Proven experience as a chef in high-volume catering, including bulk meals and banquet or function service.
- Experience in large scale A La Carte kitchens (Desirable).
- Experience in mining village operations (Desirable).
- Must have with a strong ability to meet client expectations for food quality, presentation, and strict adherence to food safety and HACCP standards.
- Experience driving a safe and productive work culture.
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
- Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
- Must pass a Pre-employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
- Driver's License/ Photo ID required.
- Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
