What you'll do
- Serves as The Citadel’s primary liaison with South Carolina Department of Agriculture Food Safety Officers.
- Coordinate the Citadel’s Dining services quality assurance program to ensure compliance with campus standards and state and municipal law; will also serve as the campus food safety expert.
- Develops and executes a quality control audit plan to ensure compliance with campus standards, contracts, and state and municipal laws, conducting approximately 200 audits per year across all campus dining locations.
- Prepares and presents audit reports to senior leadership and foodservice contractors.
- Maintains an inventory of all foodservice equipment and ensures that equipment is working properly; coordinates and tracks facility and equipment repair with Facilities & Engineering, the Auxiliary Services Maintenance Technician, and/or the equipment service provider.
- Tracks purchase information and warranty dates and assist with the development of an equipment replacement schedule; as well as coordinating the removal and surplus of old or malfunctioning equipment.
- Represents Auxiliary Services on various committees as assigned and attends meetings as necessary.
- Plans, implements, and coordinates special projects and performs other activities as directed in support of institutional and divisional goals and objectives.

- Occasional evening and weekend work.
