We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst – Localization to ensure the linguistic quality, accuracy, and consistency of English subtitles, closed captions (CC), and audio descriptions (AD). The ideal candidate should have an excellent command of English, be familiar with US and UK English accents and language conventions and be committed to maintaining the highest quality standards for localized content.

Position Summary
We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst – Localization to ensure the linguistic quality, accuracy, and consistency of English subtitles, closed captions (CC), and audio descriptions (AD). The ideal candidate should have an excellent command of English, be familiar with US and UK English accents and language conventions and be committed to maintaining the highest quality standards for localized content.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform linguistic and quality checks on subtitles, closed captions (CC), and audio descriptions (AD).
- Identify and correct errors related to grammar, spelling, punctuation, timing, and formatting.
- Create and edit subtitles, CC, and AD content as required.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with client and in-house style guides.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback and support the training and development of team members.
- Maintain high-quality standards while meeting project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience in localization, subtitling, or linguistic quality control is preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Strong familiarity with US and UK English accents, dialects, and colloquialisms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong linguistic judgment.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Familiarity with subtitle or localization tools is an added advantage.
Work Schedule
- Work-from-office role based in Mylapore, Chennai.
- Weekend work may be required based on movie release schedules. Compensatory time off will be provided in accordance with company policy.
