What you'll do

  • Responsible for execution of quality assurance and quality control activities on the project site.
  • Coordinate and implement project QA/QC activities in accordance with the Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and client requirements.
  • Review, maintain and control project quality documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely resolution of deficiencies.
  • Execute inspection activities as applicable, such as for foundations, grounding, structure erection, conductor installation and material receiving activities.
  • Perform and document inspections while ensuring all check sheets, photographic records and quality documentation are completed and maintained in accordance with project requirements.
  • Promote compliance with the Company Quality Manual, Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and client requirements.
  • Support all quality team members and ensure requirements are met of the applicable Contract, Client Standards, Provincial and Federal Regulations, and Code(s) of Construction.
  • Coordinate with the material management team to ensure material receiving inspections are completed and verify material traceability, certification, storage, and conformance to project requirements.
  • Identify and communicate any material issues to the material management team, i.e. including missing or damaged material.
  • Document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), deficiencies and corrective actions and coordinate with team members through to closure.

As part of the Java Group, Victor Energy’s staff have over 50 years of experience building some of Canada’s largest electrical infrastructure projects.

As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a Quality Coordinator (Site) to lead project quality activities and ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, applicable codes, and Victor Energy's Quality Management System. This role is site-based and will work closely with construction, project management, clients, and quality leadership to achieve successful project execution.
