What you’ll be doing:

• Partner with business stakeholders and the development team to define test strategy for Salesforce enhancements, ensuring delivered solutions meet requirements and drive the intended business outcomes. 
• Serve as the quality counterpart to development — designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases across Salesforce Lightning, Apex, LWC, and integration touchpoints. 
• Own release quality gates: run regression suites, validate governor-limit-safe behavior, and sign off on deployment readiness alongside the development team. 
• Identify, log, triage, and track defects through resolution, working closely with engineers to reproduce issues and validate fixes. 
• Support UAT cycles with business users — coordinating test scripts, facilitating sign-offs, and running go-live readiness checks. 
• Add value to the Salesforce COE (Centre of Excellence) — building reusable test frameworks, driving automation coverage, embedding QA into CI/CD-backed release practices, and mentoring junior QA engineers. 
• Learn new Salesforce capabilities and testing tools as project needs evolve and help enable the wider team on them. 

What we’re looking for:

• Familiarity with Salesforce Out-of-Box features and how they interact with custom automation (flows, process builders, and other declarative automation). 

• Potential to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective, traceable test coverage. 

• Strong hands-on understanding of Salesforce Lightning Experience terminologies and features from a testing/validation standpoint. 

• Experience testing managed packages, including regression impact across upgrades. 

• Experience testing click-to-configure integrations as well as custom API-based integrations (REST, SOAP, FTP, JSON). 

• Proficiency in manual testing plus hands-on experience preferable with at least one test automation tool (e.g., Provar, Selenium, Copado Robotic Testing, or an equivalent Salesforce-native automation tool). 

• Experience writing and executing test plans, test cases, and requirement-to-test traceability matrices. 

• Working knowledge of Apex, VF, and LWC sufficient to read code, understand test coverage, and collaborate effectively with developers. 

• Experience with defect and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, Xray, TestRail). 

• Ability to independently manage QA scope for a project — planning, execution, and reporting. 

• Experience in agile methodologies, functioning as embedded QA within sprint ceremonies. 

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and how automated testing integrates into deployment pipelines. 

• Working knowledge of the Salesforce data model and SOQL/SOSL for backend validation of test outcomes. 

• 2-5 years of experience in Salesforce QA/testing. 

• Should hold at least one relevant Salesforce certification (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, or equivalent). 

• Should have delivered at least 2 E2E projects as QA owner/lead. 

• Active badge holder on Salesforce Trailhead. 

• AI-assisted testing using tools like Claude, Cursor, or Codex for test case generation and automation scripting.

Good to Have

• DocuSign – testing setup, integration with Salesforce, and CLM workflows. 
• CPQ – testing configuration, customization, and Quote-to-Cash process flows. 
• Experience with Salesforce-native automation tools such as Provar or Copado Robotic Testing. 
• Performance or load testing experience for Salesforce orgs.
