Dauch is seeking a Quality Manager to join our world-class team. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a leading company in the automotive industry, where you will have the chance to contribute to the flawless execution of our manufacturing processes. This role located at our Twinsburg plant in Twinsburg, OH.

This Quality Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Quality Management System, driving lean initiatives, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.

In this role, the Quality Manager will partner closely with leadership, operations, engineering, suppliers, and customers to improve product quality, drive operational excellence, and support ongoing business growth.

Job Description:

  • Accomplish quality by orienting, training, assigning, and coaching employees.

  • Meet quality standards by enforcing production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.

  • Control product quality inspection actions by enforcing manuals, resources, and web sites.

  • Resolve product quality standard applications by examining and interpreting specifications; correcting vague references.

  • Provide management planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing product quality results data and trends.

  • Contributes to quality department and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.

  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and quality assurance principles.

  • Experience with auditing, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Provide technical guidance and support related to metallurgy, material specifications, heat treatment processes, and product quality

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and problem-solving techniques.

  • Initiates customer contact for on-going feedback and takes proactive role in responding to customer concerns as they relate to product quality.

  • Performs, directs, and/or participates in training related to quality knowledge and awareness.

  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

  • Ability to influence and obtain results through cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions with limited direction.

  • Effective conflict resolution and change management skills.

  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with associates, customers, suppliers, and senior leadership.

  • All other duties as assigned.
