R&D laboratory technician (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

• Perform sampling and weighing of existing products and contribute to the development of new formulations (colors and flavors) based on demand, and any related tasks.

• Conduct physicochemical analyses to validate the quality of raw materials and finished products.

• Carry out application testing to support product development and provide technical assistance.

• Provide technical support to the Senior Process Scientist during pilot plant trials, including data collection.

• Ensure the availability of raw materials and laboratory consumables.

• Prepare and submit technical documentation.

• Assist in the preparation of technical presentations.

• Collaborate with other Capol departments (Purchasing, Customer Service, Quality, Production, etc.) to support project success.

Qualifications:

• College diploma (DEC) in Food Process Technology, Food Quality, Biology, or a related field.

• Previous experience in the food industry is an asset.

• Strong laboratory skills and technical abilities.

• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding communication skills in both French and English.
