  • Experience developing detailed test plans and procedures to evaluate avionics hardware.

  • Experience with understanding complex schematics and redesigning with modern, functionally equivalent circuits.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, function generators, and power supplies.
  • Strong written and verbal skills; able to produce clear technical documents and lead detailed design reviews.
  • Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with external suppliers and customers.
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret level security clearance.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector has a need for a Principal/Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer at its Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) organization in Warner Robins, GA. This engineering position is for an electrical engineering role on our weather radar program. This opportunity provides a chance to have direct impact on the product and mission, moving quickly through design decisions, integration, testing, production and fielding. Our ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, a drive to lead from where you are, collaborative people skills, and the proven ability to work within a technically diverse and fast-paced team. This position is in Warner Robins, GA and requires that you work on-site daily.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Capture, analyze, and maintain subsystem‑level requirements for an SRU within the weather radar system.

Basic Qualifications:

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
