- Perform all the duties of a Diagnostic Technologist II

- Demonstrates the ability to participate in EOC rounding and TJC tracers alongside department leadership
- Capable of acting as a safety coach duty as they may be asked to serve on the committee
- Demonstrates the ability to develop and mentor other learners
- Expected to show initiative and contribute to successful modality operations
- Capable of recognizing excellence in coworker performance and does not participate in disruptive behavior

Shift: 3 x 12's - Sat & Sun 11:30AM - 11:30PM; Wed 8:00AM - 8:30PM.
The practice of radiography is performed by radiologic technologists responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to humans of all ages (newborn to geriatric) for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. A radiographer performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
Core Competencies

Advanced Competencies
Expected to perform complex procedures as applicable to your primary area. This includes but is not limited to Lumbar Punctures, Myelograms, advanced MSK procedures, procedures involving a sterile technique, and complex imaging that requires extensive critical thinking.
Capable of inventorying, ordering, and tracking unit supplies. This includes the ability to utilize any 3rd inventory management tools designed for your area.
Knowledge and Competency
Highly experienced. Proficient in modality advanced competencies.
Thorough knowledge of technical standards, the scope of practice, department and health system policies, safety and service standards.
Participates in the development of modality policy, procedures, and workflows.
Thorough understanding of imaging equipment, image processing software, instrumentation, and ancillary patient care equipment.
Education, Certification & Experience
The position requires certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT), BLS, and a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
