Our Internship Program & About This Role

Lincoln Avenue Communities (LAC) is seeking driven Summer Analysts to join our Development team in Santa Monica. This internship program is designed to help you launch a career in affordable multifamily real estate by working side-by-side with experts in acquisitions, rehabilitation, refinancing, and ground-up development.

As a Summer Analyst, you’ll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to creating and preserving affordable housing communities nationwide. From day one, you’ll gain hands-on experience, structured training, and exposure to live real estate projects that make a meaningful impact in communities across the country.

Our internship is carefully designed to balance professional development with practical experience. Through mentorship, project-based learning, and opportunities to contribute in a dynamic team environment, you’ll be supported as you grow, learn, and explore your potential in real estate development.

Each year, we refine the program to ensure interns leave with:

  • Technical skills that translate directly to a career in real estate development
  • Valuable relationships with mentors and peers
  • A clear understanding of the affordable housing industry and its challenges

Program Details

  • Duration: 10 weeks | Monday, June 7 – Friday, August 13
  • Who We’re Looking For: Current college seniors graduating in Spring 2027 and rising seniors with an expected graduation date of Spring 2028.
  • Work Structure: Full-time (5 days in the office)
  • Pay: Undergraduate Students ($25/hr) | Graduate-level Students ($32/hr)
  • Housing/Living Stipends: Students residing outside of Los Angeles County are eligible for a living stipend and/or student housing paid for by LAC
