The Role

Fisher & Paykel is one of Australasia’s best-known brands, a global company with a strong heritage and ambitious plans. Our New Zealand origins, curious nature and passion to develop luxury products continue to shape the way we work and the experiences we create for our customers.

We’re looking for a Regional Delivery & Installation Team Lead (New South Wales) to join our Australian Delivery & Installation team and play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the seamless, effortless experience that Fisher & Paykel is known for.

Based at Eastern Creek and reporting to the National Delivery & Installation Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the regional Delivery & Installation function in NSW.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll coordinate people, vehicles, inventory and schedules to ensure products are delivered and installed safely, efficiently and on time. You’ll also be the key link between our delivery fleet, customers and internal teams, proactively managing changes, resolving issues and keeping everyone informed.

With four direct reports across two teams, supported by contractors in a team of 12, you’ll provide visible leadership, coaching and on-the-job development, while supporting the Delivery & Installation Manager with the day-to-day running of the broader team.

What you’ll do

You’ll lead from the front, helping build a culture of energy, enthusiasm and accountability while ensuring our people have the capability and support to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll oversee daily delivery and installation schedules, manage resource and service constraints, optimise vehicle and route capacity, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and truck utilisation. You’ll also work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including logistics partners, to ensure agreed service levels and timelines are achieved.

Customer experience is at the heart of the role. You’ll ensure our customers receive proactive communication, professional appliance installation and connection, product demonstrations and advice on the use and care of their appliances, while representing Fisher & Paykel as a true brand ambassador.

You’ll also take ownership of performance reporting, including Delivery Performance, Customer NPS and the financial health of the regional operation, using data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement.

Safety is non-negotiable. You’ll help maintain high standards across vehicle operation, loading, unloading and customer-site activities, ensuring our teams understand and follow WHS, Chain of Responsibility and Fisher & Paykel health and safety requirements.

About you

You’ll bring demonstrated experience in last-mile logistics, home delivery and/or delivery and installation management, along with the ability to lead people in a fast-paced operational environment.

You’ll be confident managing relationships with logistics providers and a range of internal and external stakeholders, with strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills.

You’ll also be comfortable working with data and systems, with intermediate to advanced experience across ERP and cloud-based platforms, along with Microsoft Office. Experience with systems such as JDE and Salesforce would be advantageous.

Most importantly, you’re someone who takes ownership, builds strong relationships and looks for better ways of doing things. You’ll be practical, organised and customer focused, with the confidence to make decisions and the ability to bring people with you.

Why Fisher & Paykel?

We’re a company driven by curiosity, innovation and a genuine desire to create products and experiences that make a difference. Our people are real, sustainably minded, generous and curious, and we’re united by our ambition to become the world’s most human-centred, #1 premium appliance brand.

If you’re an experienced delivery and installation leader who enjoys making things happen, developing people and creating great customer experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

and take the next step in your career with Fisher & Paykel. Please include a brief cover letter and CV.
