Regional Enablement Lead (English, Japanese)

The Japan Regional Enablement Lead (REL) acts as a partner to the Japan Office of the President, COO and Chief of Staff. You will be the critical link between global enablement strategy and regional execution, responsible for supporting the Priorities across Japan.

In this role, you will balance the need for global consistency with the necessity of local relevance, ensuring that Cloud Googlers in Japan are equipped to lead with AI and execute our GTM priorities, accelerating performance through engaging and relevant enablement that contributes to impactful business outcomes and fosters a culture of excellence.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities:

• Design and execute the Enablement plan. Act as a member of the Japan extended leadership team, providing a bidirectional feedback loop.
• Drive daily usage and proficiency in tools like Gemini Enterprise and NotebookLM. Enable Field Sales Representatives and Customer Engineers to move beyond technical features to deliver AI-first business narratives.
• Lead Gemini Enterprise initiatives, tailoring global business assets into sessions that resonate with the Japan market and manager Community of Practice, focusing on "Coaching through Uncertainty".
• Deploy refresher resources that empower managers to help their teams create value narratives. Execute required learning through internal learning management systems.
• Ensure that the region attains 80% or more completion of required courses. Translate and adapt global business plays into local market contexts to ensure relevance.

Minimum qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in management consulting, sales enablement, program management, or sales operations.
• Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently for global collaboration with stakeholder engagement.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience taking broad global concepts and developing structured, localized plans for a regional field.
• Experience guiding sales teams through organizational restructuring or role transformations.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud products or similar cloud technology platforms.
• Ability to partner with the Japan Leadership Team to prioritize enablement interventions.
