Type of contract: 1-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of renewal, including an 180-day probation period.

MAIN PURPOSE
The overall objective of this position is to support and strengthen procurement activities at country program level and projects supported by the ASU, while acting as a strategic, technical and operational link between the ASU and the Global Field Procurement function of the GPU.
The role fosters the adoption of procurement best practices and global standards, ensuring they are relevant, efficient and adapted to the operational realities of country programs and projects in Latin America.
RESPONSABILITIES
2.On-hand support for mutualized and non-mutualized procurement in country programs (based on demand)
3.Act as functional manager for field Intersectional Procurement Managers (IPMs)
4.Contribute to the strengthening of processes and tools to support procurement activities at field level
5.Participate in the development and strengthening of the field procurement community
