About the Role

BOQ Finance is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager (South) to lead our Equipment Finance business across Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania. Reporting to the Head of Asset Finance, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of Business Development Managers, driving growth outcomes, strengthening broker relationships and delivering exceptional service across the region. This is a significant leadership opportunity with accountability for both financial performance and the broader success of the regional business.

As a trusted leader, you will coach and develop your team to achieve new business, settlement and margin objectives while fostering a positive, high-performance culture. You'll serve as a key escalation point for brokers and team members, represent BOQ Finance in the external market, and work closely with stakeholders across credit, operations, customer onboarding and risk functions. Your expertise will also help shape improvements to systems, processes and the overall broker and customer experience.

This role requires a commercially minded leader who understands the complexities of equipment and asset finance, can confidently navigate credit and risk considerations, and is comfortable leading teams through change while maintaining strong customer and stakeholder outcomes.

You are an established leader within the Australian equipment and asset finance market with a strong track record of leading sales teams, building capability and delivering sustainable growth results. You bring deep knowledge of commercial equipment finance products, credit assessment, deal structuring, documentation requirements and the broader asset finance landscape.

You are equally comfortable coaching a team, engaging with senior stakeholders and managing complex commercial discussions. Your relationship-building skills allow you to develop trusted partnerships with brokers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, while your leadership style creates a positive, accountable and customer-focused culture.

To be successful, you'll bring extensive experience within equipment or asset finance, proven people leadership capability, strong commercial acumen and a thorough understanding of risk, compliance and credit practices.
