What you'll do
- Develops and oversees the implementation of nutrition interventions/prescriptions for patients nutrition diagnosis
- Demonstrates Proficiency in Standards of Practice (Nutrition Assessment, Nutrition Diagnosis, Nutrition Intervention/Plan of Care and Nutrition Monitoring and Evaluation
- Demonstrates Proficiency in Standards of Professional Performance (Quality In Practice, Competency/Accountability, Provisions of Services, Application of Research, Communication and Applications of Knowledge and Utilization and Management of Resources)
- Uses Nutrition Care Process (NCP) ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation for patient's nutritional assessment
- Perform Nutrition Focused Physical Exam (NFPE) and documenting clinical criteria to demonstrate patients with malnutrition
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team regarding patients nutrition plan of care
- Complete yearly department competency and other performance improvement projects as assigned
- Uses Evidence Based Practice in patient care
- Serve as a preceptor to dietetic interns
- Employee has 90 days from hire to get their secondary state license

Job Description
