JOB DESCRIPTION

The Physician Practice and Clinic Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients in a physician practice or ambulatory clinic setting. Reporting to practice or nursing leadership, this role assesses patients, assists with procedures and examinations, administers medications and immunizations, and provides patient education and care coordination. The nurse manages triage, follow-up, and communication with patients between visits and coordinates with physicians and office staff. This role matters because skilled outpatient nursing supports chronic disease management, prevention, and continuity of care. The nurse handles clinical documentation in the electronic health record, supports population health outreach, and helps the practice run safely and efficiently.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION

An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

One to two years of ambulatory, clinic, or medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE

Current state RN license is required. Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN examination is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Ambulatory Care Nursing (AMB-BC) certification is preferred.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.01 - $55.42 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
