  • May be responsible for selection, orientation, on-boarding, and retention.
  • This position must know the resources needed to resolve problems and when to use them in order to facilitate facility operations, particularly during off hours.

Platte County Memorial Hospital is looking for a full-time Registered Nurse Shift Lead in Wheatland, Wyoming. In this position, you will help a variety of departments within the hospital, lunch breaks, be the resource when leaders are not there and help make staffing decisions. This position is 36-hours per week working nights from 6:00 pm - 6:30 am.

Platte County Memorial Hospital offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, including an Outpatient Clinic which brings in more than 20 of the region's top physicians in nine different medical specialties to help care for southeast Wyoming residents. A $16 million renovation created a new inpatient wing, surgical suite, and diagnostic imaging departments while making enhancements to the emergency department and laboratory. In Wheatland, Wyoming, you'll enjoy a quality lifestyle in a close-knit community that is located just 70 miles north of Wyoming's capital city of Cheyenne. POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides operational supervision of campus workflow, resource utilization and management, and operations for all clinical and non-clinical departments during assigned shift. Responds to facility emergency situations, initiates disaster notification processes, facilitates patient placement and communicates with media.
