Job Description

Overview

The Requirements Specialist supports the implementation and maintenance of requirements management processes across complex railway and transit projects. Working closely with Systems Engineering, Design, Safety, and Assurance teams, the role is responsible for managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle, including traceability, allocation, change control, verification, and compliance reporting. The Requirements Specialist maintains requirements data within tools such as DOORS Next Generation (DOORS NG), supports configuration and hazard management activities, and develops reports and metrics to demonstrate project compliance and progress. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to ensure requirements are accurately captured, effectively managed, and successfully verified to support safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery.

About you
