Job Overview

Research Assistant, McCourt School of Public Policy - Georgetown University

This position is to support Professor Manoli in work on multiple research projects related to social safety net programs and workforce development.

Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

• Writing and submitting applications for Human Subjects Internal Review Board (IRB) approval

• Survey design and administration

• Data cleaning and analysis

• Literature reviews

• Developing data collection and PDF-scraping tools

Work Interactions

The research assistant will report to Professor Manoli. This work will contribute to the broad teaching and public policy community within the McCourt School of Public Policy.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum academic qualifications: M.A. in public policy or related fields.

• Proficiency in Stata and/or R.

Pay Range:

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:

$41,926.00 - $65,090.00

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
