Labcorp is seeking a Research Associate I – R&D Validation Studies to join our team in Burlington, NC!

Job Responsibilities:

The Research Associate plays a critical role in executing and supporting scientific investigations on validation studies. This is a hands-on position responsible for independently conducting key experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, identifying anomalies, and proposing follow-up studies to advance research objectives. This role requires the ability to master new experimental techniques, perform routine and moderately complex tasks with competence, and contribute to problem-solving within cross-functional teams. They maintain meticulous and comprehensible experimental records, contribute to technical reports, and may present findings to internal stakeholders. Data generated may support patent applications or peer-reviewed publications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree

  • 2 or more years of experience in R&D wet laboratory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years of experience with auto analyzer assay development
