The position will also support collaborative research activities with academic and industrial partners, contributing to NTU’s mission of advancing cutting-edge research and translational biomedical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent and collaborative research in additive manufacturing, computational design, biomaterials, and biomedical engineering.

  • Design and optimize three-dimensional printed structures using computer-aided design, numerical modelling, data-driven optimization, and artificial intelligence-assisted methods.

  • Develop and characterize bioactive polymeric, ceramic, or composite materials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications.

  • Plan and perform additive manufacturing experiments, including process optimization, mechanical testing, structural characterization, and biological evaluation.

  • Analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports, journal publications, and research presentations.

  • Collaborate closely with researchers, students, clinicians, and industrial partners to support interdisciplinary research activities.

  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.

  • Experience in additive manufacturing and computational design.

  • Experience in biomaterials, tissue engineering, or biomedical applications.

  • Experience in materials characterization, mechanical testing, microscopy, and image analysis.

  • Experience with CAD, numerical modelling, optimization, or artificial intelligence-assisted design is desirable.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary research environment.

  • Good publication record in relevant research areas.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
