Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center: Join the Single-cell Analytics Innovation Lab (SAIL) as a Research Technican/Research Assistant!

A driving motivation of the Single-cell Analytics Innovation Lab (SAIL) at MSKCC is to develop cutting-edge single-cell and spatial genomics experimental technologies, including single-cell genomics and multiplexed imaging, to explore questions in tumor heterogeneity, metastasis, and the tumor-immune environment. The work in our dynamic multi-disciplinary team involves the use of technologies such as droplet microfluidics, spatial genomics, imaging, molecular biology, and high-throughput sequencing. We are seeking a diligent and dedicated wet-lab researcher who is interested in learning about and developing new technologies for cancer research.

We welcome candidates with a range of experience levels. The final title and position level will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.

Role Overview:

  • Laboratory Support: Prepare and maintain lab equipment, reagents, assays, and other essential supplies; test and develop new reagents and protocols of general interest for the lab.

  • Techniques & Assays: Develop and run spatial genomics assays.

  • Data Management: Record and analyze research data, prepare reports, and provide insights to the research team.

  • Collaboration: Participate in projects to collect large-scale single-cell datasets in collaboration with clinical trial teams.

Pay Range: $26.77 - $107,600.00
