What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems.
- Install and replace panels, breakers, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, ceiling fans, and other electrical components.
- Complete service upgrades, wiring repairs, dedicated circuits, and electrical system improvements.
- Install generators, EV chargers, surge protection, smoke detectors, and other residential electrical equipment.
- Perform electrical safety inspections and identify code or safety concerns.
- Explain findings and provide homeowners with appropriate repair and replacement options.
- Prepare accurate estimates and complete service documentation using company software.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code, local requirements, and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while protecting customers’ homes.
- Coordinate with dispatch, customer service, and other field teams to complete jobs efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous residential electrical service and repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of residential wiring methods, electrical systems, and the National Electrical Code.
- Ability to independently manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to explain technical findings and available options clearly to homeowners.
- Commitment to safe, code-compliant, and high-quality work.
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience preferred.
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to perform physical work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
