- Performs assessments on Pediatric and Neonatal units
- Performs general and critical care respiratory care procedures
- Performs blood gas analysis and interpretation
- Maintenance and management of equipment
- Patient and family education in those areas

- Associate’s Degree from an accredited school in Respiratory Therapy Required
- Previous Working Experience in Neonatal or Pediatric Respiratory care, or successful completion of department-specific orientation, including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level. Required
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Upon Hire Required
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners. Upon Hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
- ACLS Upon Hire Required
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Upon Hire Required
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Upon Hire Required
