Job Summary:
The Retail Excellence & Training Lead is responsible for building a high-trust, high-conversion retail sales culture across all CDC stores. This role focuses on enhancing customer experience through trust-based selling, strengthening team capabilities, and driving measurable improvements in store performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Develop Retail Selling Playbook
Design and implement a structured CDC selling framework centered on trust → discovery → recommendation → conversion.
2)Training & Capability Building
Deliver impactful training programs to enhance:
- Product storytelling
- Authenticity and confidence in selling
- Customer engagement and relationship-building skills
3) Drive Ethical Upselling Practices
Enable teams to increase upsell and cross-sell opportunities through value-based recommendations, avoiding pressure selling techniques.
4) Audit & Performance Monitoring
Conduct regular store audits, training assessments, and mystery shopping exercises to ensure adherence to standards and identify improvement areas.
5) New Hire Onboarding Excellence
Strengthen onboarding programs to accelerate new staff readiness and ensure consistent quality across locations.
6) Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Retail Operations to ensure seamless execution of training initiatives and consistent in-store experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
1) 3–6 years of experience in retail training / sales excellence / L&D
2) Strong communication, coaching, and facilitation skills
3) Customer-first and data-driven mindset
4) Experience in multi-store retail is a plus
