What you'll do

- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
- Support residents with transfers, repositioning, and safe ambulation as required.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, and behavioral condition to the appropriate nursing staff.
- Maintain residents’ dignity, privacy, independence, and choice during all interactions.
- Follow established infection prevention and control practices and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation as required.
- Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies and seek assistance when required.
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to providing high-quality resident care.

- Successful completion of a Ministry of Education approved PSW Training Program (minimum 640 hours) from a Community College or a school approved by the National Association of Career Colleges OR RN/RPN students with successful completion of Year 1

Position Overview
As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and comfort of all patients.

Compensation
- Pay: $23 / hour
